REIKI USUI TREATMENT FOR 5 PEOPLE, by Juliana Stadelmann // 10am-6:30pm
by appointment: 10am / 11:30am / 2pm / 3:30pm / 5pm
juliana.stadelmann@gmail.com or tel./sms 0774109594
Reiki is an energetic practice entirely centered on the person himself and his potentials.
Initiated by the research of the Japanese Buddhist monk Mikao Usui (1865-1926), a Reiki session creates an environment conducive to physical, mental and emotional self-healing.
Through meditation and specific touch, the practitioner helps to release tension in the body and mind. He thus accompanies the person to access his own natural homeostatic capacities. It allows a reinforcement and a contribution of energy but does not exempt from a follow-up and a medical treatment.
Course of a treatment :
The Reiki treatment is done by placing the hands a few centimeters away from the person.
It lasts about 1 hour and does not require any pre-requisite.
The person is dressed, lying on a massage table.
❤ Everybody is welcome as they are ❤

PROJECTION OF 'KILLER OF SHEEP', Charles Burnett, USA, 1978, 81 min, vo st. fr. proposed by Faye Corthésy // 9pm
"Haunted by the politics of resistance within the family that emerged after the 1965 Watts Rebellion [in Los Angeles], Killer of Sheep [...] is an anthem to childhood. The film is structured around various forms of ritual: of family, of childhood, of oppression, of resistance to oppression. Stan, the protagonist of Killer of Sheep, is involved in a series of intricate rituals that hold his family together, triumphing by will amidst the hostile and demoralizing conditions of working in a slaughterhouse and living in a ghetto, a territory occupied by the police. [...] There is no sentimentality about this lived experience, only a depiction of victory over hostile conditions. The film contains many biblical allusions to damnation and redemption, but it is its poetic imagery, among the most remarkable in the history of African American cinema, that makes it truly memorable." (translated from a texte by Manthia Diawara)
